Higher or Lower trivia game welcome screen with neon arcade styling

See it in action

A quick look at the game in motion before you buy.

You want a trivia game everyone can play in two minutes, on whatever screen is already in the room. Not a PowerPoint deck you have to build. Not an app everyone has to install. Not a website that breaks the moment the wifi drops.

Higher or Lower is one HTML file. Double-click it, pick a pack, and play. That is the whole setup.

Why this, not a PowerPoint game

Most party trivia games are PowerPoint or Canva templates. You have to own the software, open the right program, and click through slides while you keep score on a napkin. If you want to change a question, you are editing slides.

This is a real game, not a slideshow. It keeps score for you, runs a timer if you want one, tracks streaks and leaderboards, and lets you write your own questions right inside the game. No PowerPoint, no Canva, no Office, nothing to install.

Four ways to play and the pack selection grid

300 questions, 10 packs, 4 ways to play

Three hundred trivia questions sorted into 10 packs: General, Science, Pop Culture, History, Sports, Food, Money, Geography, Tech, and Human Body. Play one pack, or mix up to three into a single mash-up game when you want more variety.

Solo

Play alone, beat your high score, and climb the rank tiers. Good for a quiet warm-up or learning which packs you know best.

Streak

Endless mode. The first miss ends the run. Chase the longest streak you can build.

Presenter

Host reads to the room. No scoring, just questions and reveals. This is the one for classrooms and big parties where one person runs the screen.

Team

Two to eight teams compete with custom names and colors. The leaderboard tracks the season so you can run it again next week and keep a running tally.

The rules take five seconds to learn

Read the statement. Guess whether the real answer is higher or lower. Spin to reveal the number and a quick fact behind it. That is it. Anyone at the table can play on the first question, no instructions needed.

An optional timer adds pressure when you want it: 10, 15, 20, or 30 seconds per question. Built-in sound effects come with a mute toggle for when the room is already loud enough.

Custom pack editor where you write your own trivia questions

Write your own questions

Open the pack editor and make your own pack right inside the game. Type questions for a birthday, a class unit, a company trivia night, or an inside-joke round only your friends will get. No extra software.

You can import a plain text file of questions and export your packs as files for backup or sharing. Make a pack once, send it to a friend, and they can drop it straight into their copy.

The game shown on a phone, a laptop, and a TV

Plays on whatever you already have

Hand the phone around at a party. Cast it to the TV and control it from your thumb. Plug a laptop into the classroom projector. Open it on a smartboard. It is mobile, tablet, laptop, and projector friendly, and keyboard, mouse, and touch all work.

Once the file is on your device, no internet is needed. Save it to your phone, your laptop, or even a USB stick and run it from anywhere.

Hall of Fame leaderboard with high scores and streaks

Built for the rematch

Hall of Fame leaderboards, lifetime stats, and Season tracking keep the competition going week after week. Pause any game and the progress saves automatically, so you can stop for dinner and pick it back up later. This is a game you play more than once.
